What if I told you that HIIT workouts not only help with physical strength, but mental strength as well?

Not to get into the nitty-gritty of it, but there are proteins called BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factors) that increase in the bloodstream during HIIT workouts. Just six minutes of vigorous exercise can cause a spike in BDNF and lead to an increase in overall brain health. Not saying you need to do high-intensity workouts every day—but fitting them into your weekly fitness routine could lead to a healthier body and mind.
