Terms of Service

1. Membership Terms

Your membership grants access to Sculpt Pilates facilities, classes, equipment, and participation in events. Membership is contractual and begins on your sign-up date with a 3-month minimum commitment. The studio reserves the right to modify or discontinue facilities, services, membership types, and pricing at any time, without notice.

Membership does not confer any ownership, management, or operational rights over the studio or its assets.

All matters concerning your membership—including pricing, suspension, and termination—are subject to the sole discretion of the studio.

2. Payments & Fees

(a) Membership Fees

  • Monthly payment specific to membership option
  • Autopay occurs every 30 days via valid credit card, debit card, or ACH.
  • A valid payment method must be on file at all times.


(b) Late Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancel at least 8 hours before class to avoid fees.
  • Cancel within 8 hours → $12 late cancellation fee.
  • No-shows → $14 no-show fee.
  • In both cases, your class credit is retained for future booking.


(c) Failed Payments & Account Delinquency

  • $30 charge for failed payments.
  • $20 late fee after 7 business days of non-payment.
  • Past-due balances may be collected in following months.
  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated until resolved.
  • Membership may be sent to collections. Legal and collection fees may apply.

All billing disputes must be submitted in writing within 120 days of the charge.

3. Membership Cancellation

(a) Member-Initiated Cancellation

  • Must be submitted in writing via email with 30 days’ notice.
  • Membership cannot be canceled before fulfilling the 3-month minimum.
  • Member remains financially responsible for any autopay or charges during the 30-day cancellation period.

(b) Studio-Initiated Cancellation

We may cancel or suspend memberships for:

  • Non-payment.
  • Violations of studio policies or this agreement.
  • Discretionary reasons, with or without cause.

Refunds are not issued unless explicitly stated. Prepaid dues are non-refundable if canceled for cause.

4. Class Booking & Waitlist

  • Book up to 30 days in advance from billing date.
  • Want earlier access? We can charge your next month early.
  • Waitlists are self-monitored. If you’re added to a class (up to 2 hours prior), attendance is expected.
  • Cancel from the waitlist 8+ hours prior to avoid charges.
  • If you’re added to a class and your membership has no remaining credits, you will be charged a drop-in fee (not applicable to unlimited memberships).
  • If not added from the waitlist, your credit is returned.

5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

No exceptions apply.

Action: Cancel ≥ 8 hours
Result: No fee, credit returned

Action: Cancel < 8 hours
Result: $12 fee, credit returned

Action: No-show
Result: $14 fee, credit returned

6. Membership Holds & Changes

  • Holds must be for 30 days minimum.
  • Notify us 3 business days before your pause resumes if an extension is needed.
  • Membership changes (pauses, upgrades/downgrades, cancellations) may take up to 3 business days to process.

7. Safety & Studio Etiquette

(a) Grip Socks Required

  • Required for every class.
  • If forgotten, socks must be purchased at the studio, or the class will be forfeited as a late cancel.

(b) Late Arrival

  • Arriving 5+ minutes late is not permitted due to safety.
  • Treated as a no show fee ($14 fee).

8. Health & Risk Acknowledgement

You affirm you are in good health and assume all risks related to physical activity. You release and indemnify Sculpt Pilates and its staff from any liability, including but not limited to:

  • Injuries from studio equipment, classes, or events.
  • Participation in supervised or unsupervised activities.
  • Accidents in or around the studio.
  • Theft or loss of property.

A medical exam is recommended prior to beginning any exercise program.

9. Property & Damages

You are liable for any damage to studio property caused by you, your guests, or dependents. The studio is not responsible for personal property lost, stolen, or damaged on the premises.

10. Independent Contractors

Some services may be offered by third-party contractors. Sculpt Pilates is not responsible for the quality or availability of such services.

11. Legal Terms

(a) Severability
If any part of this agreement is unenforceable, the rest remains valid.

(b) Notices
All notices will be considered delivered when:

  • Sent to the member’s email or address on file.
  • Received by the studio via written notice.

(c) Assignment
You may not transfer your membership. The studio may assign this agreement at any time.

(d) Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement and supersedes all prior agreements. Only a written amendment signed by the studio owner can modify this agreement.

(e) Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts.

(f) Attorneys’ Fees
In the event of a legal dispute, the prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses (excluding personal injury or non-contractual claims).
